The Day Has Moved, The Focus Has Not
When I first kicked off the Quoggling Sand podcast, I was going to do at least two each week, one to begin a sprint, one to wrap up the sprint and see where things landed, and then whatever else came along, including the mythical podcast guest which I continue to believe in, but only barely.
As I am purging and packing now with two weeks remaining until my relocation (with a gap, which makes it fun, so purge, pack, store, visit another state for a few weeks, return, load, unpack… good times), I’m trying to juggle the interrupts associated with this, the joy of smoke as our weather forecast here in Vegas (which is really messing with my allergies) and generally having too much to do in too many directions without a program manager or, perhaps better, a collaborator or two to bounce ideas off of and spread some tasks around with.
Okay, enough whining, today’s episode is a mish mash, like the others, and I’m thinking about retiring the Weekend versions of my newsletters (there are others, for Hugo Floss, FFS Talk, and my personal Dan Hugo stuff), and as I get to core tools launch, using my own platform to publish the stuff that goes in to the newsletters. While I don’t like Revue as much, I am not enamored so much with Substack either, but Revue does look like it might make taking content from an RSS feed easy (easier?), which might make it the first secondary tool.
This comes up in the episode, though, so you should listen in…
